The mission of the Tempe Adult Education Program is to help meet the
needs of adult learners in their community, workplace, and family
settings. Instruction, in a student-centered environment, is goal
directed and encourages self-directed, goal-oriented, lifelong learners.
The staff of the Tempe Union High School District Adult
Education Program represent a combined total of over 100 years of adult
education experience. Most program teachers have a Master's Degree in a
field related to adult education or are working in the fields of social
work, public administration, elementary, secondary or higher education.
