Welcome to Mountain Pointe High School.
Over the years, the Pride name has been synonymous with excellence in the classroom and in the arena. Walking the hallways and athletic fields one soon discovers what a special place this is. PURPOSE, PRIDE and PERFORMANCE signals our intentions. The numerous championship banners that hang in our gymnasium herald the victory of our young men and women. Our athletic accomplishments include 77 region championships, 17 state runner-ups and 20 state championships.

Mountain Pointe has been recognized as the state's outstanding girls athletic program in 1996-97, Tempe's outstanding athletic program each year from 1994 through 2002 and Arizona's outstanding 5A athletic program in 1995-96 and 1997-98. The awards that we pride ourselves in the most is the H.A. Hendrickson Award. This annual award recognizes the 5A school with the greatest combined performance in music, speech and athletics. We have garnered four such awards in 1995-96, 1996-97, 1999-2000 and 2001-2002.

We are excited about the participation of the young women and men of the neighborhoods that we serve. Coupled with that excitement is the chance to interact with the fans, families and community members of Mountain Pointe. Thank you for your continued support, attendance and sportsmanship.

To find schedules for our athletic events, please visit the AIA website and enter our school and the team sport you are interested in attending.
