Kim Hilgers

In the summer of 2006 Kim Hilgers became an MHS Charger when she accepted the position of principal at McClintock High School.
Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979 at the University of North Dakota in Business Education. She continued her coursework in the MBA program at UND. After moving to Arizona, Kim attended Arizona State University and received a Master of Arts in Secondary Education in 1987, and continued her coursework in Educational Administration.
From 1982-1990, Ms. Hilgers taught a variety of business subjects. In 1991, she moved to the Tempe Union High School District Office coordinating the District's staff development, curriculum, and assessment programs. In 1997, she continued her career at Desert Vista High School. Her experience continued to diversify at DVHS as Business Department Chairperson, Assistant Principal for Student Achievement and Activities, and the Assistant Principal for Student Services/Registrar.
Kim has a passion for data-driven decision-making and designing student achievement plans, as well as mentoring new teachers. She is also active in community organizations and has provided leadership for the East Valley Women’s League, Desert Club, and the Tempe Sister City Program.

Bill Hazell

Bill Hazell joined the MHS Administrative team in the summer of 2004 as the assistant principal in charge of registration.
Mr. Hazell graduated from George Washington High School in Denver, Colorado. He then earned his Bachelor of Arts at Arizona State University in 1995 and Master of Arts at Northern Arizona University in 2002.
After beginning his teaching career at Chandler High School, Mr. Hazell came to McClintock in 1998 where he taught in the mathematics department and coached as an assistant on the girls basketball team. Currently in his 11th year as a Charger, he oversees the Registrar’s Office.
Mr. Hazell and his wife, Dámaris, have two daughters named Esli and Sofia.

Suzanne Edwards

Mrs. Susan Edwards is excited to be returning to Charger land for the 2011 school year. Mrs. Edwards began her teaching career at McClintock High School in 1984 as a business teacher. She was the Business Department Chair in 1995 to 1999. Since 1999 she has served as assistant principal of activities, registrar and principal.
Mrs. Edwards earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education and Health from the University of Akron where she coached track and cross country. She earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
Susan and her husband Paul (MHS graduate in 1981) have a blended family of 6 children. She enjoys her early morning runs with her two dogs, golf and watching football.

Kim Saad
|
Kim Saad joined the McClintock administrative team as the Assistant Principal of Activities in July 2009. Prior to that, she taught Spanish at MHS for 13 years and served as the Foreign Language Department Chair for 8 years.
Mrs. Saad was born in Denver, Colorado, raised in north-central Oklahoma, and graduated from Ponca City (OK) Senior High School. She attended Oklahoma State University before transferring to the University of Arizona. At the U of A, Mrs. Saad earned a B.A. in Oriental Studies (China Area), with a minor in Spanish, and also completed an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language. She taught English at a women’s college in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for 5 years before returning to Arizona. Mrs. Saad taught Spanish and ESL for one year at Buckeye Union High School prior to accepting a teaching position at McClintock. She is currently working on the dissertation for her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Arizona State University.
Mrs. Saad and her husband, Roger, have two sons, Emile and Ferris, and a daughter, Farah. They enjoy spending time together, traveling, hiking, and spoiling the family dog, Tanner.
