Academy Senate

To advocate for the social and academic welfare of the Payne Academy student body.

Achievers Program

To expose students to diverse career and college opportunities, positive role models, and academic support. 

AFS International
Am. Field Service

To provide an opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and also become aware of what they have in common.

Amnesty International

To advocate for the human rights of non-violent prisoners around the world.

Animee To learn about Japanese anime and games.
Auto Club To fund raise for projects such as solar electric boat, alternative energy projects and community service projects.

Dining out at local restaurants, planning and implementing holiday events, researching and cooking the cuisines of different regions in the United States and around the world.

To promote leadership and social responsibility through community service, volunteerism and fundraising.

Fellowship Christian Athletes

To present to athletes and coaches the challenge of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord while serving Him in their personal lives.

French Club

To gain an insight and an understanding of the French people and their culture.

To promote funding for research and educate the public on related health issues.

Muslim Student Association

To promote a greater understanding/appreciation of Islamic culture/heritage between Muslim and non-Muslims alike.

National Art Honor Society

To foster excellence, to further creative abilities and talents of the Society's members & increase an awareness of art.

National Honor Society To create an enthusiasm for scholarship, a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all MHS students.
National Spanish Honor Society To promote the Spanish culture.

To develop musical skills through rehearsal and practice and share our music with others through performance.

+Photo Club

To provide opportunities to participate in photo related activities such as field trips and workshops.

#Politically Active and Conservative The club promotes political awareness and involvement by emphasizing responsibiliy and conservative ideas about government and laws.

SADD
Students Against Destructive Decisions

To raise awareness of the cause/effect of destructive decisions, including drugs, alcohol, tobacco, unsafe driving, sexual issues, teen suicide and violence on campus.

Science Club

To learn about science and promote environment activism.

Senior Class

To promote school spirit, be role models, organize Homecoming and senior party for the Senior class.

*Sophomore Class

To raise funds for prom along with organizing campus and community service activities for the Sophomore class.

Spanish Club

To invite students from all backgrounds to learn more about the language and cultures of Spanish speaking people.

To provide an opportunity to learn higher-level thinking, verbal and performing skills along with promoting public speaking opportunities.

#Stand A student group dedicated to putting an end to genocide in Darfur and elsewhere.

To promote awareness regarding community issues.

To provide an understanding of how government runs, plan, participate and fund raise for activities on campus, and help in community service.

Teen Court

To provide an understanding of the AZ Juvenile Court system, while providing a program for service as a Juror or Attorney in cases referred to the Teen Court program.

Unity

To educate and promote unity among the different cultures and races on campus.

+VICA/ICE To promote the betterment of a vocational training in today's eduction.
#Video To enhance filming and editing skills in creating video projects for competitions, school, and community.

Voices

To showcase and publish students’ poems, short stories, artwork and photographs.
*+Yearbook To produce, market and distribute the school yearbook.

Young Democrats

To pursue ideas of liberty, justice, freedom for all regardless of race, religion or sex, through support of the Democratic Party, its ideas, ideals and candidates.
