All students at Marcos de Niza have an assigned counselor according to classes. 
The counseling department will do everything possible to ensure that Marcos students have the same counselor for the duration of their high school experience. We feel that establishment of a close working relationship between the counselors and the students assigned to them is more likely under this arrangement. Also, counselors get to know the "whole individual" which contributes to providing consistent, efficient services to students and their families.
