President Bush's "No Child Left Behind Initiatives" recognizes the importance of parental involvement in a child's education. Research studies confirm that parent involvement improves student achievement.

The MdN staff encourages you to let your student know that you value learning and that you have high expectations for them. Support for education in the home is one of the strogest indicators of student success in the classroom.

No Parent Left Behind University is a free program, open to all parents in the district and surrounding East Valley communities, which involves parents in the education and welfare of the students. It allows students to continue learning parenting skills, academic and life skills.
For more information, call Kay Cosner at MdN, 838-3200, ext. 40074.
